Proportion of women in Senior Executive Service positions in the Australian Public Service is stable

Latest data from the Australian Public Service Commission shows that women occupied 40% of Senior Executive Service positions, and 47% of Executive Level positions in the Australian Public Service in 2014. These figures are unchanged from 2013.

Data from the Commonwealth Parliamentary Library shows that with the commencement of a new Senate in July 2014, the proportion of women in the Senate has declined from 41.3% women in 2014 to 38.2% women in 2015.

Data as of 2015 also shows that the number of women in Cabinet has increased from 1 to 2.
